I am a human. I live on a planet called Earth. I love sushi and dachshunds, along with cookies, root beer, and the Halo franchise. The Walking Dead is a favorite show of mine. I wave my geek flag proudly. I hate math with a passion. If you want to know how many oranges can fit inside the sun, you wouldn't know, because they would all burn up. There. Question solved. :dummy:

But to touch on a more artistic facet, the majority of my work here is digital, done in Photoshop CS5. I also post more traditional works too, so it can be a mixed bag, medium wise. Additionally, a lot of my art is people oriented at the moment. Most of all, however, I do my best to expand or experiment with the boundaries of my art in every piece I complete. Either that, or I have fun with it. Because if you're not having fun, where's the joy in it? :la:

You also might see a poem or story in the description of some of the pictures. I like to write creatively at times, so that may spill out onto my art as well, adding a bit of story to it. I'm no professional, but it's fun and enjoyable. :) Song lyrics are also common.

I do not do commissions at the moment, but I announce openings for requests in my journal. If you should have any questions or want to strike up a conversation, feel free to chuck a note at me, or write something on my page. :D I don't bite!

Thanks so much for passing by, favoriting, or watching! It's all very much appreciated! I also like llama badges, so go right ahead and toss them to me. I'll toss one back! :squee:
Interests

Art Status, Info, and List

Trades - Ask Me by SweetDuke Collaborations - Ask Me by SweetDuke
Commissions - Closed by SweetDuke Kiribans - Open by SweetDuke

Please do not watch me and expect a watchback in return. I don't subscribe to that, and I would prefer if you watch me based solely on the fact you enjoy my work. If you don't care for what I do, absolutely no harm done. We all have our own tastes. But I would rather someone hate what I do and not watch, then someone watch and not even care.

Tools of the Trade - Photoshop CS5 and a Wacom Intuos 4 tablet for my digital art, and usually a mechanical pencil and paper for my traditional art. Although I have come to use watercolors, some gouache, Faber Castell ink pens, Sharpie paint pens, a white gel pen, and more as well. Generally more sketch-type things are put up, however.

Policy on Gift Art - I more than welcome gift art, and thank you so much for even considering it (if you have)! All I ask is if you're doing one of my characters, please respect them. Both creator and creations would be deeply grateful.

If you have requested something, or are otherwise expecting art from me, let me know! While I like to think I have a good memory, I may have forgotten something.

---

Commissions - Closed.

Trades - Feel free to ask, but there's not a guarantee I'll always say yes. Not only because of life, but I also put a lot of heart, time, and work into my art. I'd like something around the same quality.

Requests - Sometimes closed, sometimes open. Keep an eye out for my journals, as I announce and open up requests solely through them. Otherwise, I'm closed.

Collaborations - Again, feel free to ask, but the same guidelines from the trade section applies.

Kiriban - I believe I'll be doing one at the 10,000 pageview mark. Watch for it!

Objectives

1. Finish owed art.

2. Finish L.A.

3. Give all my characters ref sheets.

Sweet! Oh, do you mean Ghost in the Shell? I know you can buy it on Itunes, at least, as that is how I have mine. Be sure to get the original if you're going to get it though, not the weird 'updated' version of it. :| They tried adding CGI to scenes, and it's just... no. Blarg. No.
Still, I'm glad you found something! :D Ghibli is awesome.

Yeah, I saw it on iTunes, but I'm unfortunately... Broke. :I so I tried to find it around YouTube and other websites. I found it, but it wasn't available on whatever platform I was using. The internet always foils my plans! :shakefist:
it was the only animeish movie that was available on said platform for free, so I watched it! Very good. Sad, but good. I can't believe that some of these movies got away with pg ratings though! :XD:

Oh gah, that sucks. D: I know I'm always starving for Itunes money, so I get that feel.
I know, sometimes they can get rather intense/weird. What movie was it, if you don't mind me asking? I'm curious. :meow:
